Residents within the City limits of Alpharetta have a valuable opportunity to have their household hazardous waste and paint either recycled or properly disposed of through a one-day collection on May 19, 2012. 

Whether you are “going green”, have old pesticides, gasoline that isn’t usable, mercury-containing items or paint products that you don’t need anymore, this is your chance to take care of them.  Many of the materials collected will be recycled or used as alternative fuels which make this a recycling collection in part.

On October 24, 2011 the City of Alpharetta released images that depict an artists' interpretation of what the proposed 22-acre City Center Project in Downtown Alpharetta would look like upon completion. These images were created based upon the conceptual site design created through a public input process during the Summer of 2011.
