ALPHARETTA RECREATION & PARKS DEPARTMENT

Providing year-round sports, activities and special events, the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department is nationally accredited and recognized for its outstanding programs for children, adults, and seniors. In addition, the department manages and operates one of the finest equestrian facilities in the southeast at Wills Park. The Greenway system along Big Creek provides a safe and environmentally pleasing pathway for users to enjoy quiet leisure time.

Heavy rains and local flooding may result in temporary closure of portions of the Greenway.  To find out today’s status, please call the Parks Services Division at 678-297-6123. During the winter season, some park restrooms may be closed to prevent frozen pipes. For information on recreation programs and services, please email recreation@alpharetta.ga.us
